Principles of Operation

The Paint Line will paint both sides of the strip simultaneously.
The strip has to be cleaned and chemically pre-treated before painting.
The chemical pre-treatment provides excellent adhesion of paint to the strip and provide corrosion protection of the steel strip under the paint.
The paint is a special formulation polyester that requires curing at high temperature.
The paint curing is carried out in a gas fired convection Oven.
The line is a Continuous Process Line.
The product quality is very high and world competitive.
Strip tension varies throughout the line, controlled by the Recoiler, Uncoilers, Bridles and Accumulators.
Coils are joined together using a mechanical Stitching Machine.
Line speed is determined by strip thickness and oven capability.
The line can process galvanised, galvalume, Aluzinc and aluminium & stainless steel.
